The Grass Without Roots

What is called "affinity" seems like has been attached to human long ago without any reason, without it we couldn't meet each other, with the affinity and match to each other then we can live side by side.

That is the reason why so many problems that couldn't be solved in this world. These all depend on whether they have the affinity and match to the other, or they don't.

When it is an affinity, even in a far distance we still can meet each other, if it isn't, even just right in front of us, we still don't know each other. In marriage we have to have the affinity. In knowing each other based on the affinity, to learn Dao also must have an affinity of it. There is no wonder, indeed, everything depends on the affinity.

"Though, a hard pouring rain can't grow the grass without roots, eventhough Dao () is so superb, also, can't get people who don't have affinity across".

You could learn Dao (

), it is already considered that you have the affinity. Since already have got that affinity, so you must be able to love the opportunity, once you had the affinity, you will always have.

Based on the affinity, learning-Dao is "to know oneself", and find the real-me back which has misled, even one step more ahead, to get the some sort of power (the natural and the supernatural). That is what so called Gong and Fak (the power and the way).

In learning-Dao, everything must have been experienced and gone through it, just like drinking water; either it is cold or hot can only be known by ourselves, it could not be done on behalf of others and in a hurry.

In the old days, a lot of masters answered the questions also depend on the affinity and the matching things, and it is divided into four categories as follow:

to be answered directly
to be answered by discussion
to be answered by questioning back
to be answered by not giving the answer for the time being

Those ways of answering are in parallel with the guidance of "educating people depends on the materials and who is being educated". This is also the only way to be taken, since the students / disciples are different.

'Not being answered for the time being' is given considering that the followers / students / disciples are still not up to it, suppose if the answer is given to them, it would more confuse them.

However, the world is so huge, there are always some strange things, for them who are not resolute, not having a good built of foundation, so some of them might quit in half way through, even more, they taunt.

Those people are not aware of missing a golden opportunity that is so valuable, it is a pity. If they lack of understanding, lack of diligence / perseverance, how possibly they could get any results.

It is true that by learning a bit, we get a bit of results, since there is opportunity why don't we positively compete for the advance and for achieving the record.

It is possible too, for some people who are affected by provocation have left the right way, but this must be remembered: "No matter how varieties are the problems in the world, the truth is only one. The truth sometime may be misled or got dirt by dust, however the voice of the heart and the real inner self will keep being the final judge and prosecute justly".

As long as you have the talent in learning Dao and is learning Dao, it means you already got the right way, since no matter how deep the soul has drawn, at least still half of the soul is trying to reach for the help. Moreover, 'in high class places still got some people who are not like human'. So don't be shame.

From your subconscious tells you that Xiu Dao (

) is difficult, just exactly on account of the difficulty it shows its grandeur, so it is only for whom has earned it, knows it. For those who hasn't, they wouldn't understand what it really is.

The Dao fertilizes the seeds of good deeds, virtuous heart, make us keen on seeking of consummation, besides we have to be philanthropy (it is not necessarily concerning in money matters only).

In the process of self-revising character in Dao (

), some people is quite often misunderstanding it; since the arrogance and ego of those people has urge to be success.

Since such characters, in fact, would go in a blink, therefore what are meant by changes and training are all depend on the need / willingness of the person who is doing Xiu Dao (

) individually. This is the main meaning / idea.

Dao emphasizes in "Natural - Way", so in Xiu Dao (

), it has to be from the willingness of one's own. Then one could learn peacefully, and automatically would reach to a high level of "Wu" (understanding and awareness).

This is because in our inner self has already got the seeds of virtue, and learning Dao (

) is seeking the way to fertilize those seeds. Except only when a wolf have the fur of the sheep which want to learn Dao (

) with bad intentions. Eventhough being constructed, a bit less of satisfaction, eventually, would also destroy that existing virtue, drawn into the sea of misery and won't emerge again. This might be what so called "The grass without roots".
